At Swapcard, we believe in a simple philosophy; life as we know it is a result of the associations and connections made between human beings. Ultimately, it is human interaction that has shaped history. We want to empower people to reveal and reach their full capacity by meeting the right person at the right time. As the digital age is dawning, we aim to preserve the magic that occurs when real-life connections are made.

This is where Swapcard comes in! We provide our platform to event organizers to help them surpass their ambitions and help their participants make meaningful encounters! Since our initial launch in November 2014, we have proudly served more than 900 events. As the number of events grow, so do we! With our recent fundraising deal, our team of 23 brave & curious individuals is now able to grow into a happy family of 35. With new members comes new ambitions. 2018 will be a year of international expansion and new territories conquered!

And that is where YOU come in! We’re not just looking for any Head of Sales, we’re looking for a star!

YOUR MISSION:

Build, coach and manage a sales team of 5 people
Close key deals coming from our outbound and inbound leads
Develop and scale our strategy (region and industry) to achieve our ambitious sales goals and expand to new markets
Define a sales process that drives desired sales outcomes
Identify then implement improvements in all aspects of your role
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and manage data proactively
Collaborate with Marketing and Product to improve the quality of leads and help shape Swapcard’s platform

YOUR STRENGTHS:

6+ years of experience in the Sales and Event industries
Proven sales experience where targets were consistently met or exceeded
Experience in building and managing a Sales team and resellers in different locations
Ability to build an extremely efficient Sales process
Capacity to negotiate and cut through rejection to achieve sales goals
Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Fluent in French and English
Paris-based (or willing to relocate)
