The Role
Working within a busy, driven sales team, the business development executive will be responsible for growing a base of new clients to add to a growing successful business. You will have autonomy over your own client list and will be an active researcher of new opportunities within the market. This position is accompanied by a fantastic reward structure for successful new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create your own prospect sales list from scratch through researching new opportunities
  • Manage the growth and maintenance of your client database for accurate records
  • Market courses, conferences and webinars to prospective clients
  • Calling potential business to introduce company services and offers with a view to securing sales
  • Research and attract sponsorship opportunities for conferences

About You
You are a very client-focussed individual with an positive ‘can do’ attitude. You are adaptable, a quick learner and enterprising in your approach. Some previous experience in a business to business sales or client acquisition would be advantageous, as is a keen interest in the Financial Services industry. You will have excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and advanced listening skills, you are driven by challenge and key measures in your day to day work and communication is one of your personality strong points.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience working in B2B sales/client acquisition is desirable, but not essential
  • High volume data management experience
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Highly proficient user of Excel (or equivalent software experience)
  • Experience of e-shots or email marketing platforms is desirable
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Accurate and methodical working style
