Looking for a new, experienced and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Manager at M by Montcalm, Shoreditch.

Purpose of role:

  • To drive sales & marketing strategy and activity so as to lead your team to achieve monthly revenue targets across all aspects of the business

Key focus:

M Events – 2nd floor events space, Urban Coterie Events – 16th & 17th Floor event spaces.


  • To proactively identify new opportunities so as to develop revenue for all streams across this business
  • To manage marketing activity and monthly marketing budget for Events
  • To train, monitor performance and provide leadership so as to develop direct reports
  • To work closely with Central Marketing team with regard to all retail campaigns
  • To proactively develop and maintain relationships with existing key accounts
  • To identify and create new attractive packages
  • To be a supportive and key HOD
  • To yield manage the calendar to maximise sales opportunities
  • To produce and work towards the annual sales and marketing plan and provide weekly sales report
  • To promote Searcys at M by attending trade events
  • To stay fully updated on market trends and conditions
  • To undertake regular competitor analysis to ensure an advantage
  • To gain a good knowledge of other Searcys venues and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • To drive the referral system and refer business as appropriate to other Searcys venues
  • To play a key part in the budgeting process
  • To work as part of a team and lead by example
  • Attend financial review meetings as requested
  • To provide updated weekly forecasts within the timeline and work towards a monthly revenue budget
  • To ensure website content, social media and e-marketing is managed and updated
  • To maintain good working relationships with the Montcalm team
  • To plan, organise and attend promotional events
  • To represent Searcys in a professional manner at all times in your behaviour, appearance and knowledge
  • Assist with event planning and production of function sheets if required
  • To perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager
