Do you have experience of working with children and families and planning events and a passion for making a real difference? If so, this role was made for you.
Haven House is looking for a highly motivated Sibling/Family Events Coordinator who will be instrumental in the planning and delivery of an exciting calendar of events for the siblings of the children and young people we support at the hospice.
You will be responsible for organising regular events for the siblings of the children and young people who access our services, known as our ‘Buddies group’. The events are hosted approximately twice a month and in a variety of settings, both on and off site. The activities that we run aim to build skills around confidence and resilience but most importantly to have fun.
You must be able to balance working independently, as well as within the wider team and will be comfortable liaising with people at all levels, both face to face and over the telephone. You will bring with you strong organisational and communication skills and be computer literate. A working knowledge of the CHASE database would be advantageous but is not essential.
Haven House are extremely proud to have been voted 27th in the Sunday Times Best Not for Profit Organisations 2018. We believe this is testament to our committed team which in turn enables us to support and make a real difference during the most difficult of times.
