New Business Sales Manager – Exhibitions – London
£40,000 – £45,000 + bonus

Are you a proactive, sales hunter with a strong track record in new business and sponsorship sales? If so, our client wants to talk to you!

Our client is an award-winning, events and trade exhibitions company dedicated to enhancing customer value, extending its global footprint and exploring every available growth opportunity.

They are now looking for a Sales Manager to join their growing team,creating and executing sales plans focused entirely on new business, self-sourcing leads and managing C level relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Management: Successfully achieving and exceeding specified targets and performance objectives. Acting as a coach and mentor to others in the Sales Team
Reporting: Maintaining a strong sales pipeline through effective activity, call management and lead generation. Ensuring accurate use and maintenance of the CRM system
Product Development: Innovating new revenue streams and new product angles. Continually seeking to improve ways of working and the service to customers
Sales: Making calls and visits to lapsed and potential new business clients to build customer relationships. Ensuring accounts have an established customer plan and any risks and growth accounts are flagged and have appropriate management plans in place
Customer Focus: Working in collaboration with internal teams e.g. Marketing, Content and Operations, ensuring all activities are considered from a customer’s viewpoint
What is key to our client is that you are not afraid to pick up the phone, that you have polished sales and negotiation skills and that you have a proven sales track record. You will be articulate and will be able to demonstrate your ability and determination to deliver results.
